At Can Tho University

ACRS 2021 is an annual conference for exchanging the latest development and information to promote remote sensing technology. Every year, the member countries of Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS) host the conference and make their best efforts for the successful conference. The theme of ACRS 2021, "Remote Sensing for Disaster Risk and Resources Degradation Reduction toward Sustainable Development", we hope to have as much smart and progressive knowledge to be shared during the event.

AWARDS

AARS Innovation Award

The award will be given to two persons whose papers have innovative points, appraised before each ACRS. The winners will be granted certificates of AARS Innovation Award with a gift as encouragement. At the same time, their papers or innovative points of the papers will receive the right to publish on the Journal of Remote Sensing without charge. And the winners will get one year free subscriptions for Joural of Remote Sensing.

CHEN Shupeng Award

The award will be given to one person who had great contribution to AARS and/or ACRS. His/her travel expenses up to 2000USD for attending the coming ACRS will be covered in this Award.

Green Asia Award Green Asia Award

The Green Asia Award is sponsored by the Chinese (Taipei) Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (CSPRS) to prompt researches directing to a greener Asia with remote sensing technology. The prize of the award will be USD $300 (or equivalent gifts) with a certificate

Shunji Murai Award

The Shunji Murai Award is open to young scientists who submit excellent papers to the Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS). The prize for the winning author shall be a certificate and financial support for travel to the ACRS.

Exhibition

JAXA

JAXA established the Earth Observation Research Center in April 1995 and the Satellite Applications and Operations Center (then- Satellite Applications and Promotion Center) in May 2006. As a core agency to develop Earth observation satellites in Japan, JAXA are promoting Earth observation, data analysis and application research.
